- Test #3 - 20% (November 11)

Notes:
- Homework will be assigned every Monday and will be collected
on the following Monday. Solutions will be handed out on the
Friday before the assignment is due. You will submit a cover page
with your homework; on the cover page, list the problem numbers and
the difficulties that you encountered with each problem, if any.
Dave will look over your work, make suggestions, and pass back your
homework. If you can't solve all of the problems initially, you
may resubmit your homework to get full credit. The resubmitted
homwork is due no later than two Mondays after it was initially
assigned.
- Make sure you have a calculator with a square root key and
an x-squared key. You will need to get one if you don't.
- The test schedule is inflexible, in order to be fair to the
other ST 301 sections. Only under extreme circumstances will
makeup tests be given. Tests cannot be dropped.
- There may be tutors around this semester. Ask the Statistics
secretaries for a list. Be warned, however, that graduate stats
tutors aren't cheap (they normally charge 12-15$ per hour).
